okay din ung movie. cute.. and pag si adam sandler ang bida..lagi almost same ung ending. may drama na comedy na parang may moral lesson lagi...

I have mixed emotions about this movie eh... db sinabi nga na parang its an insult to the LGBT community kasi they were using ung hard fought right so larry can get money for kids. but then sa end, its a good thing na rin kasi it exposes LGBT in the mainstream.

Astig din ung, how they eventually defended LGBTs just because they expereienced the discrimination.

Light lang ang movie.. di heavy drama at hindi rin trying hard comedy... kaya astig. :D

THANK YOU for making these kinda movies... at least di lang sa LGBT movie fest lumalabas ang mga LGBT issues diba?

naalala ko lang kasi kanina habng may hinahanap akong notes from my 1st sem sa college, nakita ko yung lumang binder na bigay ng seatmate/kapatid-ko-kasi-inampon-ako-nun-mom-nya. ALALA ko bigay nya un 'remembrance' ata kasi yun gamit nya nung 4th yr HS kami. Anyway, mejo laspag na rin yung spring nya and I saw a couple of pages:

nakalimutan kaya niya ang ballpen at pencil ang gamit nya? haha... pero kakatuwa makita ang schedule namin nung HS. Di ko alam kung anung quarter to, pero haha.. ang galing hehe..nakakatagal ako sa classroom for 7 different subjects/day at almost buong araw nasa school! OA no?

PERO ETO ANG PINAKA GUSTO KONG MALAMAN KUNG ANO.... I found this di ko matandaan kung tula ba to or kanta eh.... or kung san to ginamit or what. kakacurious! hehe

may mga iba pa akong nakita... pero hehehe... tinamad na ko magpicture eh..

actually may nakita nga rin akong lumang UNOPENED bank statement at yung Letter from INS na tinatanggap at approve ang permanent residency ko... LOL!! guess I was not paying attention nun!

Can I just say that this line is somewhat insulting? using the word STAIGHT? wtf? what does that suppose to mean? that it is more exciting since its not lesbians who fell inlove with each other? Or pangit pakinggan ang word na lesbian? cuz it will imply the more 'butch' portrayal of lesbians. and since sexy yung mga characters ng movie... lets just describe them as straight. well wtf?! they are not so straight anymore! THEY FELL IN LOVE WITH EACH OTHER! even sa gender spectrum---- they are not so straight, are they? maybe somewhat bisexual self proclaimed straight or what? asexual? or talagang nagkataon lang?

OR BAKA PEDENG INALIS NA LANG UNG STRAIGHT KUNG DI NAMAN TALGA EMPHASIZED SA MOVIE kung anung 'gender label' nila!

"CAUGHT IN A WEB OF FORBIDDEN LOVE"- caught? talga lang caught ah! para bang natrap na lang either one of the girls sa situation, di man lang napagisipan, di man lang decision... parang caught na lang ung 2 straight girls sa love which is by the way 'forbidden'!

I guess ung ambiguity it creates- by using those words relates to the readiness ng pinoy sa LGBT shows. Para bang okay na --they are not really ready for mainstream movie na purely lesbian/gay so lets throw in the word straight----at least kahit papano they are still 'straight' women 'caught' by love. Kasi nga naman... when its the butchy type: like AIZA S. then we can call it lesbian.... but its Mylene and Andrea so STRAIGHT!?
