it isn't fair

I wanna scream. Its building up inside. I need to let go, let go of this ill-feelings. I hate it. It's not fair. NO! YOU ARE NOT FAIR! Why?

Is it me? or is it you? I hate it, don't want to rationalize anymore. Its your fault. No, its mine. IT IS YOUR FAULT! YOU ARE SELFISH! No, I AM.

Don't give me that crap. It's so lame. PATHETIC. Who's pathetic? ME? or you? I think I AM. I AM MAD. THE TENSION IS Building up inside. I need to be alone. MY temp is rising. Soon I WILL EXPLODE, and I don't want anybody near me. I might regret. I don't wanna regret.

pizza quest #2 [w/brocs]

AKO'y NAHUHUMALING SA... homeeeeeeeeeeeeeeemade pizza!

So, pizza talk ulit.
HEre's another variation of pizza that I made... from the bottom---up:
* wheat pita bread
* meaty tomato base sauce
* few crumbled velveeta cheese
* brocolli and carrots shreds
* mozzarell shredded
* chopped onions
* pepperoni
Directly cooked sa rack ng oven toaster in 425F about 10mins i think or less..
SO WHAT's MY VERDICT?
RATING: 4/5
::: the velveeta cheese gives a nice soft and cheesy flavor
::: brocolli/carrots shreds and onions gives it a fresher taste but it did not retain its crunch
::: i can't ressist tasting it before taking a picture of it :)
::: better than the first one!

//edit. ^^ I forgot to tell you, after my phone interview last thursday, they called me today to tell me that the hiring/nurse manager wants to interview me on Wednesday @ 11 am, after all my exams. Cool huh? So what should I do now?! HEEEEEEEEELP ME pleaaaaaaase!

Meat con salad

AKO'y NAHUHUMALING SA... chili and garlic with oil





Minsan sa buhay ko, naisip ko: "Eh kung maging vegetarian kaya ako?" Pero sa oras ding yon, may bumulong sakin... "Lei nananaginip ka, nagiilusyon at nagdedeliryo."

TAMA NGA NAMAN ang boses na bumubulong. Ito'y dapat pakinggan dahil masisira siguro ang ulo ko kung di ako makakain ng kahit anong meaty... MEATY... at MEATY.

A meal without meat is a not a meal. It can be a snack, a munch, pica pica but a day without meat... is suffering.
Seriously, it is so amazing how I can pass on all of those sugary-white-flour-and-carb-filled-desserts. I can survive a lifetime without eating cakes, chocolates and candies. But pag chicken, eggs, bacon, sardines, tuna at beef na ang wala, parang kinuha na rin ang kaluluwa ko.

breakfast - meaty protein = cranky lei.
cranky lei = pastries + orange juice + fruits + doughnuts + pancakes and waffles for breakfast.

It's not that I don't like fruits and veggies, its just that meat is the heart and soul of a meal!!!!


Kaya naman 2days ago, eto ang aking breakfast lunch and snack.

I craved for veggies and grilled chix so ayan salad na magkasing dami ang toppings at salad. hehe..

ANYONE NA KILALA AKO knows that I HATE... HATE... HAAAAAAAATE cold salad dressings... (xept na lang pag home-made na masarap talaga). But madalas if I eat out wala ng choice diba? KAsi its hard to eat greens w/o anything coz they are in their death beds, di na fresh, iba na ang lasa.

Since fairly fresh pa naman yung spinach and brocolli/carrots shreds, salt and pepper plus meaty toppings = HEAVEN!

What's in the pic: BEd of coarsely shredded brocolli stems and carrots. Layered with a bed of spinach. Topped with salt and pepper.

Grilled tops: It is just chix breast boiled well. In a heated pan + very lil oil, BROWN onions and garlic, place cooked breast slices til brown on one side and all juices evaporated. Turn to brown other side. Place on top of plate.

Optional: It will be fairly dry salad without lil bit of ketchup. And syempre optional din ang chili/garlic in oil (ung nilalagay sa siomai sa pinas).

Quest for da best homemade pizza [fast]

AKO'y NAHUHUMALING SA... mskm at rounin... hehe

SOBRANG daming pizza promotions lately..... PIZZAHUT (the $10.99 anysize, any specialty hand tossed pizza) at PAPA JOHN's (the $10.99 large cheese pizza with 5 free toppings), sobrang nakakatakam tuloy!!!

The bad thing: TOO much fat and CALORIES ang pizza (sabi a slice of pizza usually equates a mcdonald's big mac or quarter pounder, eh ang prob with pizza I dont eat just ONE slice right?)

SO, I SENT MYSELF IN A MISSION. Since I love pizza too much to give it up, ANG MISSION KO IS TO MAKE MY OWN perfect PIZZA! Btw, I hate frozen pizzas!!! suuuuuper di masarap ang crust at kulang ang toppings.. hehe

AT shempre ang routine before magluto, is to find out kung anong mga food items ang NEARLY ROTTEN sa refrigerator.

Rottening :)>>>3 large tomatoes at boiled ground beef

GROCERY :)>>> pita bread, $0.99 pepperoni (50 slices), shredded cheese (mozzarela)

HOW I DID IT: in exchange for the usual white pizza dough or premade pizza dough, I used whole wheat flat pita bread.

BASE SAUCE: so instead of using premade pizza sauce or marinara, I used what's rottening sa ref. Heat my ground beef, add my chopped tomatoes (2 in total minus the rottening parts hehe), and an almost expired tomato paste in the pantry. Simmer for 15mins, Add few water, mix, salt pepper, dash sugar, and garlic. Simmer for additional 5mins.

Assemble: Syempre since its my first time to try it with pita bread, conservative muna, pepperoni and cheese. NExt time na ung may iba't ibang toppings. So pita bread, base sauce, cheese, then meat.

OVEN TOAST: Its too small for me to waste energy to bake it, kaya I used oven toaster na lang. I set it at 425F between 8-12minutes....

AND WHAT'S a PIZZA WITHOUT HOT SAUCE eh?!

RATINGS: 3.5/5
:crust is healthy, tastes good-better than frozen but not as tasty as pizzahut or papajohns,
great crunch and chewyness
napadami ang sauce so mejo umasim,
bland cheese, should use provologne huh?
lacks herby taste
toested pepperoni.

ITS REALLY AWESOME for its cheap price and i think some healthier ingredients? hehe

heavy and meaty: one time meal of the day

PAN seared chicken breast and BOKCHOY/spinach stirfry

served with garlicky-onion-bacon topped jasmine rice and extra serving of toasted garlicky-onion-bacon.

THE ORIGINAL PLAN was to have a simple food for lunch/dinner given that I ate this 2days ago at 4pm. ..............Kaya ganyan yan, nagraid ako ng ref ulit, 2days ago. And I found several rotting (in the process of getting rotten) vegies and old meat.

NEARLY ROTTEN VEGIES: some spinach, lots of bokchoy and onions.

OLD MEAT: 2 slices of bacon, which are not pink in color anymore.

NOT-SO-OLD-MEAT: been boiled and thawed chicken breast for a week na...

In a heated nonstick pan: bacon til cooked but not brown, garlic til brown, then onions. COOK until bacon is crunchy, garlic is light brown and onions are nearly burnt (to give it a sweeter taste).

SET ON THE SIDE OF THE PAN to continue browning: LAY the chicken breast browning each side, meaning not moving it, Before flipping it to the other side. Then do not disturb to brown. Take the chicken out and some of the garlicky-onion-bacon, and drain in paper towels :p

WHILE AVOIDING TO PICK ON THE COOKED MEAT: add the bockchoy stems first, cook for a few minutes, then add the rest of the veggies (bokchoy leaves, spinach, carrots and mushrooms. I think I added some leeks too.)
